Dive Into Fun
Many diving magazines have named The Crystal Coast one of the best places in North America to dive. The area’s warm, Gulf Stream waters average eighty degrees and more during the summer months, creating the perfect environment for an incredible variety of sea life, soft coral and tropical fish. Numerous shipwrecks just off the coast (this area is often referred to as “The Graveyard of the Atlantic”) add to the intrigue, and one-day certifications, entry level courses and specialty certifications at several area dive centers make diving an available activity for just about everyone.
Dive for the day, during the night, or over the course of the week—choose the expedition that best suits you. And if scuba diving is a bit rich for your blood? There’s always snorkeling, which is also readily available.
