Grande Villas Reels in Luxury and Fun at Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament

Grande Villas at Indian Beach, the Crystal Coast’s premier luxury condominium residence, will be sponsoring the Awards Dinner on Friday night at the 49th annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. Excitement builds for this tournament all year long, both locally and internationally, and it is the pinnacle sport fishing event for many competitors. Big Rock currently averages 200 boats and nearly 1,600 competitors. The Awards Dinner will be attended by all Big Rock participants, as well as spectators, eager to see who takes home cash prizes exceeding 1 million dollars.

The Big Rock Tournament is the largest non-profit tournament on the East Coast. The first day of fishing the six-day event will be Monday June 11, 2007, with weigh-ins every afternoon through Saturday, June 16. The Big Rock is a prestigious marlin tournament that’s attracted competitors from around the world. During the past three years, anglers from 22 states and three international teams have participated in the six-day offshore competition.
