Indian Beach: Experiencing the Local Flavor

May and June were festival-filled months at the Crystal Coast and Grande Villas was right in the middle of the action!

At the beginning of May, we were excited to be part of the North Carolina Maritime Museum’s Wooden Boat Show. Fried shrimp and sailboat races made the town of Beaufort come alive. Then we danced our way to the Beaufort Music Festival, nothing better than shagging on the water. At the end of the month, we helped Morehead City celebrate its 150th birthday, a great week of events ending with a beautiful fireworks display over the water.

In June Grande Villas spotlighted the 49th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. Reeling in fish and fun for nine days straight on the Morehead City Waterfront, we were able to witness the winning catch – a 613 lb blue marlin!
