Grande Villas among the stars with Cinema by the Sea

As the summer dwindles to an end, Grande Villas celebrated a successful summer season with our friends at the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort at Cinema by the Sea. NC Maritime Museum is dedicated to the promotion and protection of North Carolina’s arts, history and culture.

Grande Villas is the Gold Sponsor for the event that showed blockbuster movies every other Saturday night in the 2007 summer. A mix of locals and tourists came to the events armed with chairs and blankets for an entertaining night of big screen fun. The gates opened at 7pm and the movies start at dusk on a grassy lawn beside Gallant’s Channel.

A special date for Friday, September 7th was a viewing of the Night at the Museum, starring Ben Stiller and Robin Williams. The Grande Villas team attended the event to socialize and treat everyone with free admission and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Kids and adults alike were happy to indulge in the sweet, cool treat. The Grande Villas is pleased to be part of these events and looks forward to more community activities in the future.
