"Topping Out" Grande Villas Construction

On November 15th Grande Villas poured its last bucket of concrete on the roof structure of the building and celebrated the event with a “Topping Out” Party.

“Topping Out” is a construction term which literally means to top out the building by pouring the last of the concrete.

The entire development team from New York and Raleigh along with the head construction staff from Weaver Cooke-Retenbaugh was onsite at Indian Beach to celebrate the event.  A BBQ lunch was provided by Weaver Cooke-Rentenbach and Grande Villas t-shirts were handed out.  A tour of the building was also given which included a stop at the top of the building to enjoy the gorgeous panoramic view.  The event concluded with a construction and development meeting to discuss the project and its progress.
